GET INVOLVED
The Northam Theatre Group puts on 4-6 productions per year ranging from one act plays, to dramas, comedies, musicals and more. Dedicated to promoting live dramatic arts in Northam, the club welcomes new members and encourages participation by volunteers of all ages and experience levels.
On Stage
Learn your lines and stand under the spotlight! Many of our productions provide opportunities for new actors to 'tread the boards' for the first time in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Backstage
If you're more comfortable behind the curtain or moving furniture in the dark - why not volunteer backstage? Learn from experienced stage crew volunteers while helping bring a production to life.
Technical
Sliders, cables, microphones, speakers, spotlights, sound cues... If you see yourself siting up in the bio-box, volunteer as part of our technical team.
Lights. Sound. Action!
Front of House
Our front of house volunteers welcome our guests to the theatre and usher them to their seats. They also keep the venue looking its best before and after the show - taking care of our audience is vital!
Sets and Props
Set the scene and help create the theatre magic. From constructing sets and painting backdrops to moving stage boxes, sourcing props and helping store it all away again - every production needs some helping hands and a little muscle.
Directors
Got a vision you want to see come to life on stage?
Every year we have a callout for directors to help us bring a variety of shows to the Link Theatre stage. Keep an eye out on our newsletter if you want to lead a production in our next season.
